The Erasmus Mundus scholarship program is funded by the European Union (EU) to encourage European and non-European students to pursue education, training, and sport in European nations. Candidates can pursue a master's degree full-time for up to two years (24 months).
At the conclusion of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship program, master's degree students will get one of the following degrees:
Joint degree: The students will receive a single degree from at least two universities.
Multiple degrees: The students will receive at least two degrees from two or more universities.
The Erasmus Mundus masters fellowship is offered by a consortium of European universities to students seeking postgraduate degrees. This Erasmus Mundus scholarship program helps students from all around the world study in Europe. The chosen students will be able to complete their studies in at least two European countries. After the chosen applicants have completed their studies, the consortia of European universities award double or joint masters degrees. They can take advantage of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship for two years through the EMJMD program. There are 130 courses covered by EMJMD. The following are the several fields of study available under the EMJMD program:

· Engineering, Manufacture and Construction
· Health and Welfare
· Humanities and Arts
· Science, Mathematics and Computing
· Social Sciences, Business and Law
EU scholarships cover the cost of a student’s participation in the programme, travel, and a living allowance.
Before enrolling in the program, applicants should make sure they match the Erasmus Mundus scholarship eligibility requirements. They are eligible to apply for the scholarship regardless of their nationality or age. The following are the conditions for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship:
In the same year, candidates should not apply for more than three Erasmus Mundus scholarship programs.
The Erasmus Mundus scholarship is open to students from all over the world.
The Erasmus Mundus scholarship application has no age restrictions.
While enrolling for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship program, students should not be receiving any other European scholarship.
